FleetPlus is headed by an executive team of four founding principals. They provide dynamic leadership, inspiration and industry knowledge. Chief Executive Officer - Scott Taylor

Scott Taylor is a major shareholder and founding principal of the FleetPlus Group. His dynamic and energetic management style leads the team in the pursuit of business perfection. Scott’s years of experience in the automotive industry, trade, transport, and finance sectors coupled with an entrepreneurial attitude, a sound understanding of commerce, business design, and management has helped make FleetPlus a business leader.

Scott was schooled in Victoria and later moved to Coffs Habour where he began a career as a mechanic. An extraordinary work ethic saw Scott qualify in his chosen trade and move up to business operations, client service, business management, and group management. More than two decades of diverse experience in automotive, trade, transport, and finance gave Scott the skills and confidence to start his own business. He built two successful companies before founding FleetPlus with the current executive team in 2001. He is a major shareholder in the FleetPlus Group, including FleetPlus New Zealand and FleetPlus Finance. Scott frequently attends business management courses and is an active member of industry associations including AFMA and AFLA.

As a founding member of the FleetPlus team, Don contributes knowledge and expertise gleaned over more than 30 years automotive industry experience.

A FleetPlus founding principal and specialist in commercial vehicles and logistics, Maurie makes a major contribution to the development of FleetPlus as an industry leader. His lengthy career incorporates mechanical expertise and client relationship management.

Maurie Mazzeo is a qualified mechanic but his interest in vehicles extends beyond logistics. Maurie is passionate about cars; this gives him an extraordinary insight when it comes to matching cars with clients. A founding FleetPlus principal with many years automotive, vehicle leasing, and fleet management experience, Maurie takes client services and relationship management to an unprecedented level.

General manager - Rebecca Nelson

Rebecca Nelson joined the FleetPlus Group in 2006. Her experience in public and private companies incorporates consumer discretionary, wholesale, retail, online and telecommunications products. Rebecca’s areas of expertise include corporate learning development and assessment, organisational development, group management, marketing, sales and human resources. A director on the National Retail Association (NRA) Board for four years, Rebecca says NRA is best known for developing the annual National Design Awards for Young Australian Designers and employment law expertise.

Rebecca Nelson was involved in start up private ventures to establish a retail and wholesale and online business nationally and via this venture introduced ‘grey market’ or parallel trading of genuine brand luxury goods into Australia. The company became the first independent retailer/wholesaler awarded direct supply through established global channels. Her multiple management, sales, and business qualifications include Human Resources, Marketing, Business Management, Training and a Diploma of Psychology.

Chief Financial Officer - Naren Narendran

Naren has over 25 years of experience in Financial Services with international exposure in large multinational corporations. Prior to joining FleetPlus as Chief Operating Officer, Naren was CFO for Alleasing, a specialised leasing company, General Manager with Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Vice President with American Express. Naren is a CPA and has an MBA.
 

Group Client Relationship Manager - Kerry McEwen

Kerry McEwen brings 21 years collective sales and service experience in motor vehicle leasing and fleet management to FleetPlus.

She spent 14 years with Ford Motor Company in auto sales and was recognised as the leading fleet sales person for seven consecutive years. Kerry is experienced in business management and client relationship management. Kerry is a founding member of the FleetPlus team and has continually developed her skills through various educational and business study courses. Her areas of expertise include Novated Leasing and Salary Packaging benefits FBT, insurance, compliance, management, and sales, supported by a genuine interest and focus on providing exceptional service.

National Corporate Sales Manager - Brad Dobinson

Prior to joining the FleetPlus Group, Brad Dobinson spent 10 years in the Australian Defence Force. During his Australian Navy Career, he qualified as a technical engineer. Brad’s tertiary qualifications include: business management, technology and engineering with prior experience as a licensed financial advisor. A former general manager of a private financial planning business, Brad is skilled in sales management and client relationship management.
